Programs
The RCCC sponsors programs that closely align with our
mission.

After a disaster, residents may need to be self-sufficient for
up to 72 hours without additional resources. Neighborhood-based
CERT teams provide the training and equipment to help you bridge that
gap.

Provides rehab and
support services to Rowlett and Sachse Fire/Rescue and Police departments
while on long duration incidents. Rowlett Fire Corps is an affiliated program of the RCCC.

Rowlett Explorer Post 1
Open to those who are 14 to 20 years old (completed 8th
grade) who are interested in Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) or a
career in Public Safety or Emergency Management.

Volunteers in Police Service
VOLUNTEERS AND COMMITMENT IT CAN WORK, IT WILL WORK
The Rowlett Volunteers in
Policing Services is asking all graduates of the Rowlett Citizen Police
Academy to join in the fight against crime.
You made the
COMMITMENT,
now become a
VOLUNTEER.
Beginning
summer 2006, citizens, like you, will be seen on the streets of Rowlett
patrolling the area parking lots for Handicap parking violators. You will
also see VIPS in your neighborhoods performing vacation house watches and
we’re not stopping there.

Eyes on Rowlett.
